A honeymoon in Kashmir works best when it is unhurried. The valley is beautiful, but its charm comes from small moments: a quiet morning on Dal Lake, a walk along the Lidder, a snow-filled afternoon in Gulmarg, a dinner with kahwa afterwards. The packages in this group are built around those moments, with fewer hotel changes than a standard sightseeing tour and more free time.
What our couple plans usually include
- A lakeside base in Srinagar, often with one night on a houseboat and the rest in a comfortable hotel.
- A private cab for the whole route, so you can stop for photographs, leave early or linger.
- One or two hill stops chosen for the season: Gulmarg for snow or meadow, Pahalgam for river and forest.

April and May bring blossom and tulips. June and September are mild. October adds autumn colour. December to February is the snow season, ideal if you want a winter honeymoon, with cold nights and a warm hotel to return to. Our winter snow escape is built for this.

Is a houseboat stay on Dal Lake worth it?
For most couples and first-time visitors, one night is worth it for the setting, the Shikara transfer and the food served on board. Quality varies a lot between houseboats, so ask for the category, the room photos and whether heating is provided in cooler months before you book.
What is the best time to visit Kashmir?
It depends on what you want. April to June suits gardens, tulips and family sightseeing, July and August are good for high meadows, September and October bring clear skies and autumn colour, and December to February is the season for snow in Gulmarg, Sonamarg and Pahalgam. Where can I see snow in Kashmir?
