The Andamans are made for honeymoons: warm water, white sand and a feeling of being far from everything. The challenge is that logistics can take up a good part of a short trip. The packages in this group are designed to keep ferry hops sensible, put you in resorts close to the sea and leave room for long, slow days.
What our couple plans usually include
- A beachfront or beach-close resort on Havelock, chosen for setting and comfort, with a second stay on Neil if time allows.
- Sunset at Radhanagar Beach, the most romantic hour on the islands.
- Easy snorkelling or a glass-bottom boat ride, so you can see the reef without effort.
- Carefully timed ferries, with private high-speed boats where possible and a buffer before your flight home.
- Transfers by private car at each island.
- Small extras on request, such as a beach dinner, a couple's massage, a photographer or room decoration, arranged in advance.
Choosing the season
November to April is the main season, with calm seas and clear water. December and January are peak. October and May are quieter, with some weather risk. The monsoon, from June to September, is not recommended for a honeymoon, because ferries and water activities are unreliable.
How to pick a package
Start with the Andaman honeymoon, 5 nights, which covers Havelock and Neil. If you have a week, the Classic Andaman tour adds Ross Island and North Bay. If you want a more active honeymoon, the scuba and snorkel trip is built around the water.
Honest advice for couples
Do not try to see every island. Two nights in Havelock is better than a hurried night in each of three places. Check ferry timings carefully, since they affect how much of the day you actually have. Keep your last day in Port Blair, and do not schedule flights on the same day as a ferry. Avoid diving the day before you fly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Andaman a good honeymoon destination?
Yes, it is one of the most popular. Radhanagar Beach at sunset, snorkelling off Neil and a quiet resort stay make a romantic trip. Choose resorts with sea access, keep days relaxed and plan ferry timings carefully, because the transfers can eat into leisure time.
How do ferries between the islands work?
Private high-speed ferries and government ferries link Port Blair, Havelock and Neil, with crossings of roughly one to two and a half hours. Tickets are booked in advance, schedules change with the season and weather, and sailings are cancelled in rough seas. We suggest a buffer of at least half a day before any flight home.
What is the best time to visit the Andaman Islands?
November to April is the main season, with calm seas, clear water and good visibility for snorkelling and diving. October and May are shoulder months with fewer crowds. June to September is the monsoon, when ferries are disrupted and many water activities are suspended. Cyclone risk is higher around April to May and October to December, so keep flexibility.
