How to choose a Goa package
Start with three questions: which coast suits you, how many days do you have and who is travelling? A long weekend works best on a single coast. Five days lets you split between north and south and add Old Goa. A group of friends will want a different base from a family with young children.
Next, think about the season. From November to February, shacks, water sports and nightlife are in full swing, and rates are at their highest. In March to May and October, hotels cost less and the beaches are quieter. In the monsoon, expect rain, closed shacks and rough seas, but also green landscapes and the lowest prices.
What to compare between packages
- The base. North Goa is lively; South Goa is calm; a split stay gives you both.
- The hotel category and distance to the beach. This changes comfort more than any other factor.
- Transfers. Check which airport you will use and how the quote handles the transfer between coasts.
- Meals. Breakfast is the usual inclusion; dinner and lunch vary.
- Activities. Water sports, cruises and entry tickets are usually paid separately.
- Peak dates. The Christmas to New Year period costs far more than the same plan in March.

What we will ask you
To prepare a useful quote we need your travel dates, the number of adults and children with ages, your starting city, preferred hotel category and rough budget. We will also ask about activities you want and anything that limits the plan. None of this is a commitment.
If none of the packages fits, send us your plan and we will draft one.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I stay in North Goa or South Goa?
Choose North Goa for nightlife, water sports, shopping and a lively beach scene, with Calangute, Baga, Anjuna and Vagator as the hubs. Choose South Goa for quieter beaches, longer stretches of sand, resorts and a slower pace, with Palolem, Agonda and Colva as the usual bases. Families and couples often prefer the south; friends groups often prefer the north.
Which airport should I fly into for Goa?
Goa has two. Manohar International Airport at Mopa (GOX) is in the far north and is convenient for North Goa. Dabolim (GOI) is closer to South Goa and Panaji. Several airlines now operate from Mopa, so always check the airport code on your ticket, and note that the two are around two hours apart by road.
How many days do I need for Goa?
Four or five days is the sweet spot for most first-time visitors, enough for a beach base, a day of heritage in Old Goa and Panaji, and a day trip such as Dudhsagar. A long weekend of three days works if you stick to one coast. Seven days lets you spend time in both North and South Goa.
Should I book early for Christmas and New Year in Goa?
Yes, as early as you can. The period from about 20 December to 5 January is the busiest of the year, with the highest hotel rates, long queues at popular restaurants and heavy traffic on the coastal roads. Booking two to three months ahead gives a much better choice of stays.
