Route: Udaipur airport - lakeside resort - city sightseeing - airport

Places covered: Udaipur, Lake Pichola, City Palace, Saheliyon-ki-Bari

Udaipur is the favourite choice for corporate offsites in Rajasthan. The resorts are used to groups, the setting encourages relaxed conversation, and a lake cruise or a courtyard dinner adds a sense of occasion. This plan is a framework we adapt to your objectives, group size and budget.

Who it suits

Teams of fifteen to a hundred people on a leadership retreat, team-building offsite, reward trip or product launch. It also works for smaller groups, with a single meeting room and a handful of activities.

How the days flow

Day one is arrival and a welcome dinner. Day two is a working day, with a morning session at the resort, a lunch break, an afternoon team activity and an evening cruise on Lake Pichola. Day three combines a morning of sightseeing, such as the City Palace and Saheliyon-ki-Bari, with free time and a cultural evening with folk music and dance. Day four is departure.

What we coordinate

  • Venue. Rooms, meeting space, projector and dining at a heritage or lakeside resort.
  • Transport. Group vehicles for arrival, departure and outings.
  • Activities. Team-building, cooking classes, heritage walks or boat trips.
  • Dietary needs. Vegetarian, Jain and other requests arranged in advance.
  • Alcohol and curfew policies, agreed with the organiser.
  • One point of contact for the organiser.

Practical tips

Book early for November to February. Share the agenda with the resort in advance. Check that vehicles can reach the property, because lanes near the old city are narrow. Plan a rest morning on the final day, since people are tired after a full programme.

Why Udaipur works for offsites

Udaipur has a large number of lakeside and heritage properties that cater to groups, and the setting naturally relaxes people. Evenings by the lake encourage conversation, and many activities, such as boat rides, cooking classes and heritage walks, are easy to arrange. The city is also reachable by direct flights from several metros, which keeps travel time reasonable. For teams that want a mix of work and reflection, the combination is hard to beat.

Options to add

A palace dinner, a vintage car parade, a folk music evening, a village visit with a craft workshop, a Kumbhalgarh day trip or a yoga session at sunrise are all popular additions. Each can be added or removed to match your budget and the mood you want for the group.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many days do I need for Rajasthan?

Six to eight days covers a classic circuit such as Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur without rushing. A four-day trip works for Jaipur plus one more city. Adding Jaisalmer, Pushkar or Ranthambore needs nine or ten days, because road legs are long and each place deserves at least a night.

Are heritage hotels worth the money?

For one or two nights, often yes. A good palace or haveli stay adds atmosphere, courtyards and food you remember. Quality varies, so check the room category, recent photos, location and whether the property is a working hotel or mainly a museum. We name the category in every quote so you can compare.

Can I drink alcohol in Rajasthan?

Alcohol is available in licensed hotels, bars and shops across most of the state. Pushkar and some religious towns are alcohol-free, and drinking in public places is not allowed. Drink-driving is strictly enforced, so arrange a driver, particularly on highways at night.
